THRASS GOES LIVE!
DAY 6, THURSDAY, 18 MAY 2006

Welcome to the sixth day of THRASS GOES LIVE!

Follow our exciting journey from MPUMALANGA to MILTON KEYNES by tuning in to our regular videostreams from locations in South Africa and the UK. Watch children learn as they use THRASS for the first time and see how impressed the Third Year Foundation Phase student teachers are.

On Days 1 - 5 we visited the Kwena Basin and the Farm Schools taking part in the Kwena Basin Project but for Day 6 we have something slightly different for you: some really exciting footage of Alan Davies taking a THRASS demonstration lesson. There are 50 children in the class, from Grades 4 to 7, and this is their first ever lesson using THRASS.

If you would like to view the videostream from the day, click on the link below the main picture on the left.

We are now going to take a break but we shall be back on Tuesday, 23 May when THRASS Accredited Certificate holders have their say about the training organised by the National Union of Educators.
