Watch this DVD with your children to learn about the 44 sounds (phonemes) and 120 main spelling choices (keygraphemes) of English.

The DVD, of the ‘World Premiere Concert’, is based on the SING-A-LONG BOOK and SING-A-LONG CD (double CD, with vocal and instrumental versions). Move-A-Long and/or Sing-a-long with the songs, again and again, until your children are so familiar with the 44 phoneme songs that they are able to look at the words on the screen and read them. 

This ‘MAL with SAL’ DVD shows actions for the songs. Copy and learn the actions. Then see if you can create your own new routines!

It is widely accepted that music, and in particular singing, can have a wide range of benefits for children: it can accelerate learning and improve the memory and, when combined with movement, it can also help to increase general physical fitness.
