In the
video we see what happens when the children and teachers at Oxley Park
Primary School in Milton Keynes, England are introduced to the THRASS
SOUND IT OUT software.
The
software is designed for use on either interactive whiteboards or
stand-alone computers so it can be used either in school or at home and
here it is being used on an interactive whiteboard.
The
children really love using SOUND IT OUT and we see Alan Davies
encouraging them to explore all the various functions. They get to grips
with everything straightaway and the youngest children are soon trying
to beat the time set by the oldest children for completing the various
activities.
The
teachers think that SOUND IT OUT is really easy to learn, great to use
and will make lessons more attractive. They are also confident that it
will be really useful for giving both new and existing parents a better
understanding of THRASS and helping them to support their children at
home.
THRASS
UK is very grateful to the children and teachers at Oxley Park Primary
School for their help in making the video.

Alan Davies
discusses the software programme with teachers at the school.
