I was thoroughly impressed by the philosophy and methodology. I can immediately
see the value of learning in this way and hence, have recommended its immediate
implementation. I found the facilitator to be passionate and enthusiastic and
this rubbed off on the teachers present. Thank you for the opportunity of
keeping abreast of current trends. Congratulations on a worthwhile course.

Very worthwhile course. It makes so much sense to teach handwriting, reading and
spelling in this manner. I am looking forward to implementing this method with

What an amazing teaching method. So easy to understand. I am sure the children
will love to learn the different raps. I cannot wait to implement this in my
class. The picture cards are bright and colourful and the chart is easy to read.

Most informative and exciting. A challenge, however, teaching Grade 0, there was
lot to our age group. Good that I was on the course, as I now know where the
balance of the groups in the school is headed. Thank you for an exciting way in

Process seems very logical. Course very interesting and informative. Very
daunting, but am motivated to begin using the programme. Can definitely

A well-planned and proven system. Very exciting, as it will provide a more
thorough approach to spelling, particularly. I am sure it will help speed up our
pupils’ development. It does seem rather daunting, but if we take the bull by
the horns and get started, I will learn quickly, and so will the pupils!

THRASS offers educators a “near to perfection” method for effective teaching.
After years of searching, I have finally found something one can really use,
which I, too, believe in!! Thank you. Thank you, Laola, for your enthusiastic
and interesting presentation. I, too, share your passion in “getting it right

The presentation and material were both very polished and user friendly. It is a

Wow! Thank you for a wonderful course. I cannot wait to begin with my Grade 0
children, Thank you for reinforcing the need to stimulate and enthral the
younger children, Laola. We have some bright 5 and 6 year olds, who will take to

Much more content can be fitted into the time. I felt that there was a lot of
repetition.
Found the course to be exciting and interesting. The concept is amazing and I
cannot wait to see it being implemented. The thought of sitting for 2 entire
days to “learn” was daunting – but in reality – the time flew and I thoroughly

I think the “map” is an outstanding, state-of-the-art tool for teaching reading
and spelling. I am looking forward to incorporating THRASS into my instruction.
The first day was very good, but some repetition from the original “sales”
presentation. I understand the need for others to hear this, but I would have
appreciated more examples of how to integrate, incorporate and practically set
up.
THRASS is a very good concept and easy to use in pre-school. Course was good and
