The
teaching staff at Holy Rosary School in Limpopo are convinced that THRASS is
the best thing that has happened to English, spelling and phonics. Many
children in Africa cannot read or write English, even when they reach high
school age but the teachers at Holy Rosary School tell us how THRASS is
helping the children to speak better English and also to read at a much
younger age. THRASS is a lot of fun and it makes the children want to work
harder and learn more.
On this web
card you can watch the excellent 1 min. 35 secs. clip
of the Limpopo children singing THRASS SING-A-LONG Phoneme Song 31 (‘The oom
pah pah melody’) which has proved really popular with viewers – when it
first appeared at the end of 20-minute video on this page
