THRASS  PART-DAY COURSE,
KZN, SOUTH AFRICA 14 APRIL, 2005

Portable Document Format

A brilliant idea. It could make an enormous difference with a lot of children. I look forward to seeing this course spread across South Africa and across the globe.

An exciting course because it demystifies the whole phonic area. It would be a wonderful opportunity for children to be given a skills-base, thus empowering them to spell, read and write accurately.

Awesome!! As a university trained teacher now teaching in a primary school – phonics was never part of my agenda – hence “teaching” phonics to my own children was not easy. What you said today makes sense!! Thank you.

Super – all encompassing! What a wonderful way to introduce phonemes and graphemes.

What a mind set change! This is so exciting. I would like to know more.

Great, comprehensive programme incorporating all children at all levels using different learning styles. Caters for many needs.

Very worthwhile –would love to learn more about this in a workshop. Thank you.

Very interesting and feel it should be worth doing the course. Can really see the benefit for children.

Awesome – As a Grade 1 teacher, I never know how to explain the other alternatives for a particular sound – great to be able to explain exactly the reasoning behind it.

Most impressed with introduction to THRASS methodology. Can see that it would be of great benefit to a whole-school approach.

Eye opener. Very exciting yet daunting!

Wonderful course. So very interesting. Would love to make contact with you. I think this is an amazing way of teaching our children.

Exciting! An excellent idea. I’d love to implement it in my class. Thank you!
