Hilary, your
input last night (at the Parents’ Meeting) and today was awe-inspiring. Lots of
new ideas to add to what I’ve been doing but also an encouragement that what I’m
doing is right!
Awesomely applicable. Brilliantly brain-based. Creatively clever!
Brilliant course – I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Absolutely wonderful. Very stimulating. Has completely converted me. Can’t wait
for a further follow-up session.
A lovely, fun-filled informative introduction. I feel very enthusiastic to start
implementing it.
It is always lovely to be part of a course when the presenter is so passionate.
Here’s to a partnership of literacy education as we move forward to helping all
learners become more literate.
Very insightful and interesting. A lovely course.
Four out of Four. Very interesting disclosure of phonic practice.
I really enjoyed learning the “ins and outs” of THRASS. I agree 100% that it
provides a way to teach children the truth. Practice will make perfect, for
teacher and learners.
Superb. Out of this world. It all makes sense now. You are a special lady!
Beautifully presented.
Awesome course. So much more informed about THRASS and how to teach the English
language.
What a wonderful course. I feel a lot more confident about teaching spelling and
reading
Very informative and makes a lot of sense. I look forward to using it in my
classroom.
Really enjoyed the training. Learnt a lot, not only about THRASS. Can’t wait to
start teaching THRASS full time in Grade 3.
Thank you for making my heart beat faster for future THRASS. It is my goal to
see my teaching of the English Language change before I retire from teaching.
For 52 years of my life I’ve done ‘Satpin’ and ball and stick! This is exciting
stuff.
Made me want to be a Grade 1 teacher – but then I changed my mind. I will wait
until they are in Grade 4!
Enjoyed the course so much Hilary – so much to still learn, but I’m excited. See
you next year!
‘E’ for Excellent. I will never have to use the phrase “English is a funny
language” again to fob off a curious child.
Thanks for a logical, clear and thought provoking course. I am looking forward
to applying what I’ve learnt in my class.
Excellent – helped to reinforce first course.
A really great session. I learned a lot. It is great to be able to teach
literacy in a way that “makes sense”.
