An excellent course filled with an exciting new approach to teaching phonics and spelling. Well presented. 

Awesome! I wish I’d known about this years ago. It all makes such sense. Hilary made the presentation and THRASS extremely interesting and user-friendly. Hope to see you at our school. 

Really enjoyed the two days. Hopefully my school will introduce THRASS in 2009. We have a number of staff already convinced – we need to try a new method for increasing literacy levels. I liked the addition of the SING-A-LONG component which makes learning fun and the introduction of movement is very important. 

I really enjoyed the course. I’ve heard bits and pieces about THRASS but was not convinced until attending the course myself that it was the way to go as far as literacy is concerned. It was great to do the course with Hilary whose knowledge is so vast and her language so rich. Was thrilled by all the possibilities presented by the interactive SING-A-LONG books. Thought of lots of games and ideas of my own to play for some of the stages. 

Excellent. Lots of information. Fun. Hilary, thank you for a lovely two days. It was 100% worthy to be at. I will definitely walk and talk. 

Hilary, you were great! Your enthusiasm is contagious! You have given me some fantastic ideas to incorporate in my teaching – especially with the children whose mother tongue is not English! I so enjoyed the fact that this course was interactive and we felt at ease to ask (sometimes “silly”) questions! Many of the questions and concerns I had prior to this weekend were answered and dealt with more than adequately! Thank you so much.

An excellent course. Opens your mind to a whole different way of teaching. The program inspired me and I am excited about implementing it with my own children and class. It works across cultures which works very well. It was lovely to have the course presented by Mrs Davies, as she has brilliant knowledge of THRASS. Excellent visuals, movement, music, resources etc. Your energy and passion are an inspiration! 

My first viewing of THRASS was very negative and I was not impressed but the last two days has blown that view out of the water. I found these last two days so inspirational, giving me hope for general teaching plus much hope for those children who struggle with language, particularly spelling. Presentation was excellent and exciting. Very inspirational. 

Thank you so, so much for the inspirational and motivating two days we have just enjoyed. I am raring to go and will be ordering my “starter pack” on Monday morning! We’ve been doing it all wrong in the past, pulling the wool over our children’s eyes, - we need to tell them the truth! 

A very intensive, informative and interesting two days. Perhaps a little more movement to alleviate bum numbness. 

This was a very informative and worthwhile course. Felt inspired and motivated to take up the challenge of learning more and following on with the teaching of THRASS. Thrilled to also know how I can help my own child, with reinforcement at home. Would love to learn more to really feel confident. So let me know if there will be follow-on courses or workshops. 

A sound educational approach presented in an informative and professional manner. Excellent attention to detail, e.g. resources, educational issues in general, teacher/learner dynamics, etc.
