I found
this course of great value. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and can see
myself using what I have learnt in my own classroom. I believe every ECD and
Foundation phase teacher should attend this course as it gives teachers a fresh
and new perspective on how to teach learners phonemes while using songs. Thank
you for this AWESOME opportunity.
An amazing experience. We were given so much exposure to the songs and dancing,
us twenty-something-year-olds were jiving away. It was really an interactive and
fun time!
What a fantastic and enjoyable course! I have had so much fun and can truly see
how this can be beneficial for young children – learning something new and
having fun while doing it! Janine was brilliant! Her enthusiasm is contagious! A

Very interactive, which gave us a chance to experience the songs while enjoying
them. Sing-A-Long is a good way to become familiar with the THRASS concepts and
sounds and would be a good introduction to explain how THRASS works. I think
that the learners will enjoy the songs and will enjoy learning to read.
Amazing. The inclusion of so many musical genres is stunning and very
educational. The songs are very fun and I am sure kids would love to do them.

The THRASS program is an excellent program. It allows one to get learners
actively involved. It is fun. Children will enjoy singing and dancing, but at
the same time they will be learning. Learning that will make spelling and
reading easy. Learners will learn spelling rules effortlessly. I really found
this workshop interesting and enjoyable and I would love to put it into practise
one day.
It was well worth doing this Sing-A-Long course. It was so much fun and very
informative. I came in feeling so despondent but I walked out feeling on top of
the world!
I really enjoyed this Sing-A-Long workshop, not only did I learn a lot but I had
a whole lot of fun. This course has taught me that we can teach young kids so
much about phonics with having a whole lot of fun. I feel that what made it
extra special was the enthusiasm and passion with which it was presented. Thank

Great and I enjoyed it immensely. I love the music and dancing and hands on
learning to read. I love that each song has a different musical style.
What a fun course! I am inspired now to let more of my ‘crazy’ side out to the
learners. They will be learning without even realising it.

Enlightening, fascinating and exciting. I wasn’t eager to come at first and I
thought we would be sitting down and listening to someone telling us how to
interact with our learners, but it was more of an interactive, integrated type
of workshop – fun and teacher friendly.

funky, hip-hop, rock-and-roll-eah!

This is a great course! I enjoyed it a lot! Definitely enjoyed the interactive
method that you use, it helps a lot. Especially to improve our own creativity
and self confidence. It is only sad that it was only two hours; I would gladly
pay some money for such a course as one can use everything that is learned

I found the course loads of fun. It made me much less shy and by the end I was
twisting and shaking! It sounds like a very effective learning programme and
very well integrated with music. The presenter was very enthusiastic and
knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the day.
The programme provides a wonderful learning experience for children learning to
spell. I learned a lot form the Sing-A-Long workshop. It is fun and the children
will love it! Children enjoy singing and moving. This is definitely an effective
way of teaching spelling, I will be teaching THRASS to my children one day. The
songs are easy and fun to learn.

I had an absolute blast at the THRASS course! If I, a twenty-one-year-old can
have so much fun singing these songs I can just imagine how much fun my grade
two’s will have singing them next year. Although the school I will be at does
not use THRASS, I will most definitely use it in my class as I feel having fun
is the best way to teach the learners things as you will have their full
concentration and they will be able to remember it for a much longer time. The
songs are easy to remember after only singing them once or twice and so I know
they will not be difficult for Grade twos to learn. I really like how the songs
integrate various learning areas showing different cultures, animals, traditions
etc Definitely well worth attending!
Awesome! I loved all the dancing and all the songs! Everything was fun, lively,
energetic and simply put WOW! I can really see myself dancing up a storm with my
future learners! If I loved the THRASS Sing-A-Long Workshop they will love every
second of it! Janine is excellent! She really makes the two hours fun and

This workshop was delightful and a lot of fun! I like the Interactive Book
software where the children can use and put the letters by the pictures!
Technology is great! You can also use the songs to teach children about
different music styles and countries! The Sing-A-Long Book has beautiful
pictures. I’m sure you will love it! Be ready to use your body!
I enjoyed the course, and wish that my school would use it. While I was in
Belgium this last month and an English class that was learning the English
alphabet in the same way. The learners were about 13-14 years old and they loved
it and were so impressed to show us. I thought it was great to see that all ages
can enjoy it. Getting to act and bring yourself down to the learner’s level is
an excellent way for them to feel secure and learn. Thank you for your
enthusiasm, it was great!
Very enjoyable and lots of fun. The presenter was stunning and her positivity
went over to us. I absolutely loved it. Children in our schools can gain so much
out of these resources. This is absolutely brilliant!! And this is a fun way of

Excellent! The Sing-A-Long workshop was brilliant – good fun! It is an excellent
way of teaching. Do, see, hear and feel and then you remember and know. I think
it is important that all teachers go through the course so that they know how to
make it fun for their children.
A most enjoyable experience; we have now been taught and shown both the theory
and the practical to THRASS. I definitely feel we will be able to use this
program in our classroom. It has become a more familiar tool to use and the
children will definitely learn from it and enjoy it.
Very informative in terms of the ways in which you can use THRASS practically in
your classroom. It has been both fun and useful. THRASS now seems a lot more
user-friendly and I definitely have more confidence in this regard.
This was something I will never forget. How the course has been presented was

honestly say that I haven’t had this much fun on a Saturday morning in a long
time. It is definitely worth the time. Speaking of time...it just flew by with
participating in activities. Best of all I can remember everything. Which means
it will be awesome for kids. Fun, interactive and energetic.

Great fun! The music, dances and movements will keep our classes entertained and

This is the most innovative and creative way to teach literacy in a manner where
the learners focus is on the fun and excitement creating a superb incidental
