Very informative. Brilliant delivery. Some very practical and useful ideas to take into the classroom.

Valuable consolidation of first day. It was useful to have been using THRASS between the two dates. The suggested games will be particularly useful. Hilary’s very practical approach was ideal.

Absolutely excellent day. So good to have the second day as it consolidated and made more sense to the understanding. I think the staff have taken it more on board and more enthusiastically today. I am looking forward to improvements in our standards! Particularly spelling!

As a student teacher I found the course really useful. Putting what I have learnt in theory in a real context. I also thought it was useful the link between analytic and synthetic phonics.

Really helpful 2 days and interesting. Doing the second day really helped and easier to understand.

An excellent course which really gave me an insight on how to deliver the programme to children in the nursery. It was very helpful to know that I must teach letter names rather than sounds. I was concerned about the sounds and letters, but now am reassured that I am OK to use only THRASS!

Very comprehensive course with good reasoning for why each stage is structured as it is. Particularly like the idea of how to deal with misconceptions even right phoneme but wrong grapheme e.g. hej and hedge. Rather a lot to take in all at once.

Very interesting and easy to understand can’t wait for our class to use it.
