A dynamically presented and well prepared course during which a multitude of new concepts were shared and methods of teaching re-evaluated. The enthusiasm was inspiring!

Absolutely awesome! Feel somewhat dazed and over-loaded but can’t wait to implement it! The lectures were interactive, very amusing and engaging. I enjoyed every second of these two days. Would have loved four days!

Very useful and makes a lot more sense than current methods for teaching reading and spelling. It was truly great fun and I can’t wait to use it with my young class and then do a refresher course!

I am not confident in my spelling and reading and this course has shown me that I, too, can benefit from using the THRASS resources! It is encouraging to know that I can improve to become a very good teacher! I am now a lot more confident and do not feel so shy about it. A wonderful course.

Great eye opener especially about the 44 phonemes. I think that it is going to be good to teach the alphabet by say ‘a’ ‘b’ ‘c’ and not sound it. The Sing-A-Long will help the children remember. A great course and wonderful eye-opener – especially for those of us living in the dark ages!

A very good course where we are enlightened about how phonics should be taught. THRASS is wonderful and I am going straight into the program.

Great fun and this has taught me a tremendous amount, especially the importance of praise and positive influence in building up children’s self-esteem. So many new ideas!

Excellent but time was short and a lot to cover. If not well versed with sounds confusion can arise. More on children who have continuous problems with spelling should be taught.

Absolutely fabulous. Mind-boggling. I am a re-fuelled teacher! I think I can make a big difference to so many children’s lives - so that they do not struggle with reading and spelling. I do think that this is the way to go and if I can be as enthusiastic and creative as Hilary and Alan I will succeed.

Revolutionary! Wish I’d been educated in this way as a child and in studying to become a teacher. Very thorough, engaging and exciting way of teaching and learning.
