Brilliant! Great presenting, great fun, great ideas and I can’t wait to get back into my classroom!

Totally different to what I expected. A great eye-opener. Please come back and teach the rest of Swaziland!

Riveting and I have gleaned an awful lot from this intense course. I am eager and excited to take up the challenge of implementing the wealth of ideas into my classroom ASAP. A most inspiring course.

If only I did this 17 years ago when I was starting teaching! I can’t wait to start, and I know that my little ones with spelling problems are surely going to benefit (as well as my entire class).

Most rewarding. Held my attention throughout. I learnt so much about so many things, not just the teaching of phonemes and literacy! Can’t wait to try it and to implement the programme fully ASAP.

Wow! I found it amazing, interesting and I learnt so much but most of all you kept us laughing!

An absolutely amazing two days immersed in learning a whole new way of looking at phonics. It was extremely well presented and held my attention throughout the learning process. Many new concepts introduced but definitely extremely valuable – almost like ‘unlocking the secret of spelling’. I will definitely go to school on Monday with renewed enthusiasm and outlook!

Wonderful. Enjoyed the passion. Very inspiring.

A wonderful two days. It was packed with fun and lots of learning. I liked your positive approach.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The phoneme groupings make such sense. Very entertaining.

THRASS is an awesome programme which I believe would make the teaching of reading and handwriting an enjoyable process. The interactive media and sing-a-long makes it the most interesting and fun reading programme I have come across.

An eye opener on reading, spelling and handwriting. Very insightful. An ‘A+’ to Alan for figuring out this new approach. Great presentation – excellent! Loved the comical side. Best of luck, Captain THRASS and damsel!

Very interesting and an eye opener to how we should teach spelling and reading and handwriting from the very beginning. It was absolutely worthwhile and I’ve learned so much during only two days. A brilliant presentation.

Extremely interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I learned a lot within a short period. Absolutely worthwhile.

A lovely course and I really enjoyed it.

Most enjoyable. Much to implement in my class now! A whole new way to teach phonics.

Very interesting. Easier to teach sounds AND names of letters to young children - enabling them to sound out common words.

Enjoyed the course very much. Very informative, interesting and has converted me to a THRASS supporter! THRASS is a wonderful system for any and every school to put into place.

Absolutely loved it. It was an eye opener and will be a great thing to use in the classroom. It focuses on the children and not on the teacher (trying to explain things that the children cannot see!) THRASS focuses on all aspects of learning, reading and spelling. Great presenters.

Fascinating. It is so much more logical than other systems I have used and it focuses only on what the children have to learn, without adding extra ‘stuff’. The presentation was fun and interesting. I only hope I can present the concept with the same verve. It is an exciting concept!

What an amazing course – so inspiring. It was fantastic to have been given such a multisensory from the lecturing, to visuals, fabulous music. Wow. What a privilege.

It was an eye opener. I really enjoyed it. It is also going to help my own child!

Really enjoyed the course and found it stimulating, fun and really motivational. Thank you for providing us with lots of practical hands on ideas and excellent resource material. Congratulations on providing the world with an excellent programme.

Inspring, engaging and motivating throughout. It has given me a lot to consider with how to use THRASS with adult ESL learners. I’m particularly interested in linking the keywords to learners’ own knowledge and areas of interest, to contextualise the language and literacy learning. A wonderful course. I hope to attend another one to learn even more about using THRASS.

Fantastic. I learnt so much over the past two days. My young children start THRASS tomorrow!

Wonderful.

Very much interesting. An excellent course. I have learnt a lot.

Discovered new skills, technology and understanding. I have learnt a lot – and as a French speaker! Job well done by a kind couple.

Excellent and well understood. Very interesting.

Very interesting. There was so much learnt. The course has better equipped me to teach reading, spelling and writing. It was really worth having it.

Logical – why did no one think of this before! Dynamic presenters – clearly presented. Please include ‘How to get started section – at different levels/grades/ages’. You were asked a pertinent question! Looking forward to introducing THRASS/THRASH at school and at any other schools where I may have the good fortune to teach.

A thoroughly enlightening two days. Alan and Hilary are fantastic and kept me smiling and listening at every session. Wish it wasn’t Saturday so I could go and start!

Really enjoyable. Alan and Hilary were absolutely passionate about THRASS and passed this on to all the students. This is a wonderful programme which will greatly assist our children right from the beginning in a multisensory way. Our second language learners will definitely benefit.

Superb! Wonderful to have the ‘creator’ of THRASS presenting the course. Will start ASAP.

A most stimulating and meaningful course. I so appreciated it being holistic using the various senses for learning which are so important for the child. I loved Alan’s animation!

Fantastic. Gives answers to the very good phonetic questions children ask and we’re not supposed to answer honestly. Makes sense to the big picture.

Alan & Hilary - you make a brilliant team! I loved the course. I’m going back with a wealth of knowledge. Keep up the excellent work. God Bless as you empower the masses.

A complete eye opener. An answer to my very old question as to how phonics can stay ahead of reading. A very practical, sound way to teach the concepts. Course very interesting, captivating and above all, very entertaining – memorable!
