Appropriate to both secondary and primary schools, extremely informative and made phonics more approachable to teach. Information given to us will only enhance our chances with our lower ability. Very well put across and a lot covered which will stick in my mind.

Very interesting and enjoyable. Can’t wait to try this out now with my Year 7 group, then moving on to lower sets in Years 8 and 9.

Fantastic for secondary schools especially Year 7, 8 and 9. Games could be adapted for Year 10. Really enjoyed the day. Thankyou! Feel very enthusiastic about trying it out. Would like to know more and a repeat of recording pupils results.

Fascinating throughout, especially in recognising reasons behind my own learning, and why others make specific instances. Pleased that the application of the course was not based on primary or secondary, but equally on both. Very interested in further opportunities and resources.

Excellent – I have come away with a wealth of knowledge – thankyou. The day has gone too quickly! It has made me realise how I should develop grapheme awareness when working with students. I look forward to ‘celebrating’ what students know already and using the skills I have learnt today.

Very useful and will certainly help my lower ability pupils. I have started a scheme of work which is working really well even for Year 9!

Very good course which was explained clearly in a way in which we could all understand. I have a much better understanding of THRASS and feel that the pupils in our school will benefit from our understanding.
