SING-A-LONG WORKSHOP,

Super ideas! A brilliant tool to teach and consolidate THRASS methods. This will most certainly get the children involved and excited about THRASS. A must for all classrooms. Thank you for a dynamic and hands-on workshop. 

Great fun – will be really enjoyed by the children we teach. 

A fabulous experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed using Sing-A-Long, especially the different movements (or actions) linking to the words of the songs. I now understand the THRASS chart even more. Fabulous idea bringing in music and dance with THRASS. The children will never forget and enjoy the experience linking to their spelling choices! Well done – fabulous energy! 

Learning phonics should be fun. THRASS Sing-A-Long more than achieves this – it is fun for the teacher and learner. The programme includes various learning styles so all the learners are involved. 

Wow! Certainly very high energy! This will spark off interest in children and their teachers. An excellent way to introduce THRASS lessons and maintain enthusiasm. 

What an amazing creative journey with Move-A-Long and Sing-A-Long, bringing yet another dynamic dimension to THRASS. 

Excellent. It was so informative and I’m so grateful that I attended it. It is a programme that needs to be implemented in all the schools because doing it makes the children think and interact with one another, feel good and enjoy themselves. It is the best method of teaching THRASS. 

This was a wonderful workshop. It’s going to change our teaching of the alphabet. The children are going to learn the alphabet, sing and do exercise at the same time. Keep it up! 

It was fantastic. I enjoy it and love it so much. 

An active, fun way to stimulate pupils imagination and ability to learn the THRASS chart, phonemes and graphemes. Four and five year olds will certainly love the music and dance movements. It also makes opportunities for pupils to move and stretch during periods of sitting activities. 

Lovely workshop. The resource person was hot, hot, hot. I hope she will keep coming to Botswana. I have had a great day with Move-A-Long and Sing–A-Long. I have learnt great things to do with children and I’m going to do one or two on Monday. 

A worthy workshop. The Sing-A-Long will go a long way in helping pupils learn spelling. It is really good as the pupils will learn unconsciously. To them it will look like singing and dancing only but they will be learning. It will need little effort to motivate the pupils. The singing and action do it all. 

I really enjoyed it and I wish to do these dances in two weeks with my class. That was great.

What a ball we’ve had! My jaw ached so much, laughing during the workshop. This will be a super tool to use, especially for Reception class where there are children whose visual memory is weak. I love the interactive nature of the workshop, and the inter-sensory approach is fantastic! Janine is a fantastic, dynamic facilitator, who really loves it! 

I loved this interactive workshop. It is fun, enjoyable and practical. It’s great to do a workshop that involves the multiple intelligences and makes learning fun, meaningful and easy. I could definitely apply what was learnt in a classroom. There is always some aspect in THRASS that will appeal to a student/child during the teaching process.

The workshop was excellently done. I really enjoyed the sounds and the music. I liked the inclusion of playing, singing and at the same time learning which will make our kids enjoy going to school. 

The workshop was fun and very informative. The dance moves are an excellent motivator. The words selected for spelling are great.

The workshop was very interesting and the Sing-A-Long package has been designed in a way that will make children remember each word learnt. 

Very motivating to be applied and to enhance the initial THRASS programme learnt earlier. This makes it easier to comprehend the essence of the whole programme in teaching of phonics, reading, writing and spelling skills. This is really an effective aspect of the THRASS programme to be practically put into effective use and application in class. It involves children’s practical as they say, act and move with the songs, at the same time gaining a lot academically. 

The workshop was interesting, exciting, refreshing, educative … the list is long. Appreciate being here because I’ve learnt more about how to put THRASS forward to the learners and all stakeholders, Sing-A-Long rocks!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself – Janine is such great fun and she really can sing and dance. I already have all these great ideas going that I’d love to do with my class. Excellent! Everyone should go to a workshop! Great fun – the kids will love it.
