An excellent course! Well presented. Session well planned. THRASS allows a school to develop a holistic approach towards phonic and spelling development. Initially difficult to follow but mainly as a result of not knowing the charts! Once we became familiar with the chart – course was easier.

Very interesting – keen to implement it although the school has already started with the programme! Support system is good and easily available. Could be broken down into groups – Grade R –Grade 3 etc. Thanks for your time and input!

Informative – explained the running of THRASS in the class. I would like to have it broken down into more user –friendly Grades like just Grade 0 – Grade 3.

I thought it was a really informative course and am quite excited to implement it in my classroom. Making use of and referring to the THRASS Profilecard throughout the training really helped me make sense of it all and see it in a bigger picture.

Wow! What a wonderful course! I did however feel that we need a more practical approach with learning the chart so that we know it before we teach the children. I suppose time would be an issue! A follow-up course would be great.

I really enjoyed it and felt well informed. However being my first introduction to THRASS, I would like to have spent more time learning the phoneme grapheme charts better. Our lecturer spoke very clearly and was enthusiastic. I would have liked to go home knowing the Raps better and with more knowledge of the basic vowel / consonant charts. However I’m eager to learn these with the CD myself. Thank you for some valuable information.

Learnt a lot, my school already uses THRASS and coming in new I really had to fumble in the dark. Thanks for the turning on the light. Laola certainly is passionate!

Please try to fit course into 1 full day. Please teach all, more activities on what to do in the class on the history that could be read on our time.

Wonderful explanation of THRASS and what it’s all about! The course was made very exciting and very interactive. It has encouraged me to ask my school if we can fundraise to get money to buy a SMART board as this course highlighted how interactive the SMART board is and how it is aimed at a learner approach to teaching. Highly developed program which makes learning fun!

Excellent and I feel really enthusiastic about THRASS. The children are involved holistically and will really enjoy doing this programme.

Very meaningful and I feel motivated to go back to the class and work with the kids. It makes a lot more sense and more people, especially training teachers should be exposed to this course. Thank you and keep up the enthusiasm it was great.
