GUIDED TRAINING FOR TEACHERS, ASSISTANTS AND PARENTS

THRASS TWO-DAY CERTIFICATE,
DAY 2, SUFFOLK, JAN 3, 2007

Portable Document Format

A superbly delivered course. Hilary’s enthusiasm and knowledge was inspiring and informative. I’m really keen to implement THRASS into our school.

Excellent. Well organised and presentation brilliant – great new ideas to use with this teaching tool.

Great. Lots of lovely new ideas. THRASS makes more sense now. I hope to use lots of the ideas.

A very interesting training day with lots of information to put to good use.

Very informative and well-presented. This will be very useful.

Very busy! Some interesting ideas for THRASS games.

Very informative.

Really good lesson and game ideas that will get children thinking. Clarified many things.

Excellent, very informative. Slightly overwhelming as a Day 1 person! Learnt a lot. Very interactive.

Very clearly put over.

Good game ideas to help children navigate their way around the THRASS chart. Will be trying these out!

Some useful ideas and tips on how to move the children forward. Well presented with enthusiasm.

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Reminded me of what I had forgotten. I did find it quite repetitive (of Day 1) and would have liked a greater variety of tasks/activities for older/more able pupils.

Very good. Hope to start using in school soon.

The course was really interesting. There were lots of practical ideas which you could take and use straight away in the classroom. It also greatly improved my knowledge of the chart and how it works.

Fantastic. Good to know we are doing it right but more things to try and have fun with. Thanks Hilary. We will all enjoy taking the children further in their knowledge of phonics. A useful day.

Thank you again. Lots of great ideas to use in the classroom. Great presentations.

Very good, with some new ideas to use in the classroom.

The new material was very interesting but the recap of Day 1 maybe could have been a little shorter but I understand it was necessary for people who weren’t on Day 1.

Maybe less time spent re-capping as extremely similar to Day 1. “15 Minutes a Day” book looks great!

An informative session. Enjoyed the practical games and activities.

Very good delivery and full of useful ideas to make progress. Quite a lot to take in on one day though!

Very interesting, enthusiastic tutor. A lot of information to digest! Should be useful in school.

Very informative, all aspects of THRASS were explained. Excellent presentation.

Very useful refresher. It’s given me some ideas how to move the children on from reciting the raps!

Lots of useful ideas and games. I like the Phoneme Machine – esp for speech and language SEN.
