intensive course was enlightening and served to fill in the gaps in my teaching.
The presenter was superb and her approach relaxed and easy to follow. The course
context is informative and will definitely serve as another option to teaching
spelling and reading. This course should be introduced into all teaching
colleges and universities. It should be also introduced as a refresher course to
all existing teachers, as in my experience, most teachers appear to teach with
little background knowledge on the spelling rules. Thoroughly enjoyed the
course.
Thank you for an informative, entertaining training course. Your patience,
enthusiasm and bubbly personality are infectious. I am sure my pupils will
benefit from your input. I salute you!
I’ve learnt a lot form this system when I compare it to the old. It makes
learning and reading so much more meaningful, especially when I look at the
learners’ spelling errors.

Very interesting and informative with lots of practical ideas. I look forward to

I found it a very interesting concept and well presented by Laola. It was good,
in so much as that we interacted with the apparatus. I think that children being
taught by this method would be at such a great advantage. All the apparatus is
so very user-friendly and very well resourced.

I have learnt many useful things about THRASS that I did not know. Laola gave us
a wonderful presentation and I am excited about going back to the classroom and
putting this into practice.

‘hippo’? Why not have ‘pp’ as a catch-all – there is no such word! Thank you for

Very dynamic – fun, interesting content, but daunting as to how to implement it.

Very comprehensive. I felt a little lost at times, but it did eventually all
link together and made sense. The material is excellent, very user-friendly and

a lot of information to absorb, but she was extremely patient and totally

Speaker was informative and enthusiastic. Course should be split into half days
as a full day is very long to absorb all the new information. Sounds very

expert. Well structured and excellent organisation. Reservations arise from my
own lack of experience with the programme. The ‘what about’ questions are likely
to be dealt with in the practical implementation (e.g. knowledge of which words
fit into ‘catch-all’ boxes). Very, very exciting.
