GUIDED TRAINING FOR TEACHERS, ASSISTANTS AND PARENTS

THRASS ONE-DAY FOUNDATION,
SURREY, APRIL 19, 2006

Portable Document Format

Excellent course – very well presented indeed. Despite having used THRASS as a resource for some years I have learnt a lot – especially in how to introduce it to complete beginners (be they pupils or staff). Thankyou.

Interesting course – appreciated the interactive nature of the day. Lots of food for thought.

Good information re. THRASS and how to work in a class. Teaching ideas for different age groups. Towards the end of the session I could see how it could be used either alongside or instead of Jolly Phonics which we currently use at school.

Lively presentation and useful information. Enjoyable day’s course.

Thoroughly informative and enjoyable. Valuable resources to take away. Your enthusiasm was/is contagious.

Good for making me analyse what I’m doing and why. Introduced me to a new way of grouping. Like the word charts. Some ideas good to add to the Alpha to Omega course and analytic phonics we use at present. Thanks.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Thankyou. You are easy to listen to and very good at explaining.

Enthusiastic presenter. Keen to share knowledge, practical ideas and to answer questions. I knew some of the basics but interesting to hear about different stages and has given me ideas for how to extend where I work.

Very helpful – I can see benefit of using THRASS with younger age group. Well presented. Thankyou.

Resources and ideas gained from the course will be very useful in the classroom. Thankyou.

Very enjoyable, learned plenty. I see the English language in a different way.

Lovely to see how the whole course fits together having ‘dabbled’ for years. Thankyou.
