What a wonderful way to teach spelling and reading! At last something that makes sense of the “funny old language, English”. Laola was dynamic in her presentation of the course.

A thorough introduction to the THRASS scheme. This course was well organised and well presented. Our intention is to follow through with the suggested ideas and to implement THRASS in our school at the earliest practical time. We appreciated the enthusiasm generated by the presenter.

Wonderfully presented, sensible material. Everything very well thought out and developed.

I really enjoyed this course. It makes a lot of sense and I feel that children will gain a lot more from THRASS than they get from Letterland. I will be introducing THRASS into my school.

A very detailed presentation. All aspects of THRASS covered thoroughly. I have a greater understanding and feel confident to introduce THRASS in my classroom. Thank You.

An excellent presentation! Children can only improve in English learning. Can’t wait to start with what I’ve learned. Will enjoy teaching English in this way! Thank you very much!

A refreshing new way to teach these fundamental skills. Look forward to consolidating all the theory in the classroom. Teaching aids – excellent.

A very interesting and stimulating course. Very good teaching materials. Look forward to implementing THRASS into the classroom.

Interesting and informative. Well organised and pleasant surroundings.

A new and innovative method to teaching handwriting, reading and spelling skills. Eagerly waiting for anticipated improvement in school results.

Very good. I am sure it will help everybody. I have gained a lot from it. Thank you very much!

It seems like a programme that our pupils will benefit from. I don’t feel confident yet – I’d still need to go through the Teacher’s Guide for myself.

Presented with enthusiasm and with great insight and knowledge. I found the information interesting and enlightening. I am looking forward to implementing THRASS into my classroom.

A great course. Exciting. I can’t wait to get started!

I felt that the course was well presented with an enormous amount of enthusiasm and dedication from the presenter. I felt that the explanation and information given provides a good background to THRASS, but as a Grade 1 teacher, I feel that I would like more information as to how to introduce THRASS most effectively in a Grade 1 class that have not been exposed to this system before. Resources used are wonderful and I particularly liked the computer programmes.

An excellent “quick reference guide” to the sounds. Would have liked to have known the “why’s” up front and then the “How to do”. The facilitator was excellent.

A very exciting, thought-provoking course. It was presented in a lively way which was very motivational. The course content was all thoroughly covered.

Well presented. Need time to become more familiar with THRASS. Look forward to implementing. Costs of products a problem.

Concise and effective. Well organised and presented. A good place to start.

A logical and sensible method of introducing and teaching literacy skills. An enrichment programme that should help learners to achieve optimum results.

Most exciting! Laola presented the material in a most professional, sympathetic way – at the same time, listening to concerns and encouraging all. I have always had a deep love of literacy and THRASS is really building on this. I am most excited at the thought of sharing this with my learners and see their literacy knowledge growing.

This was an enjoyable course, although much practise is still needed! It will be a challenge to implement as a new system in our school, but I look forward to seeing the results first hand. Many thanks to Laola.

A well thought-out, well devised and well presented course! The course material is beautifully made and very user friendly. This should be used throughout the country but may never be implemented because of the financial implications. What a great pity!

Very informative and well thought out. Speaker was well organised and knew topic very well.

I think this course was excellent. I wish we had more time to go through this work again.

A great new look and approach to Reading and Writing. A valuable insight into things we already know, but can approach with new enthusiasm. I hope to continue to learn more! Thank you!
