These five hundred words include essential high frequency words, days of the week, months of the year, numbers to twenty, common colour words and the 120 words on the class size PICTURECHART (T-02). New words from reading and spelling activities are stored for reference in this portrait format (210 x 105mm), consumable title. The 500 basewords are used in the four BIG BOOKS (T-27 – T-30), four GUIDED READERS (T-31 – T-34) and four ECHO READING PACKS (T-41 – T-44) in the THRASS 500 SERIES (T-27 – T-48) . Graphemes not included on the main chart are represented by an asterisk, called a Grapheme Catch-All or GCA. GCAs may be added, by the learner, to the GCA boxes on the pages.
