This large encapsulated wall chart (886mm x 605mm, landscape format) features letter-boxes, phoneme-boxes and graphemes. To practise the segmentation and blending of phonemes in words, use a dry-wipe pen/whiteboard marker to trace over the relevant graphemes in the correct phoneme-boxes. Naming the letters will practice spelling (i.e. changing phonemes to graphemes). Accurately articulating the phonemes will practise reading (i.e. changing graphemes to phonemes). Identifying the graphemes on this chart will practice analogy (making comparisons between similar words).
