These notices were published in the newspaper section of the Times
Educational Supplement during October, November and December 2005. The notices
were to inform TES readers about: the special two-day
accredited certificate course, in Birmingham, for Newly
Qualified Teachers (NQTs), new in post since Sept 2001; the
THRASS PHONEME MACHINE software; the PHONICS 4 PARENTS
website; the THRASS IN AFRICA video; the CERTIFICATE FOR
PARENTS videos (Parts 1 & 2), the 20% of NQTs that receive
poor training for phonics; and the unique free DualDisc CD/DVD
in the 2006 catalogue, as released in January 2006, containing
software and videos.
